  • Real World Firewall Test

    QAI Laboratories Coquitlam BC Canada Monday May 11, 2015

    Just BioFiber Structural Solutions is conducting testing for use as a firewall. The standard used for fire-resistant ratings is CAN/ULC-S101, Fire Endurance Tests of Building Construction and Materials. This standard is critical for fire-resistance rating acceptance, as it is required by the National Building Code of Canada (NBC). The test consists of constructing a wall assembly 3 meters by 4 meters (91 blocks) then subjecting the entire wall surface to a furnace temperature of 1600 F  / 900 C for 1 hour then 1900 F / 1000 C for up to 4 hours. Then the wall is subjected to a fire hose stream of water. We anticipate the results May 22, 2015

    Just BioFiber previously submitted a technology introduction and now has a formal statement of interest application filed on April 15, 2015. We will be notified in the next 2 months if we are selected for advancement of funding. We have a very compelling case for Green House Gas reduction and sequestration.

    We are accepted to submit a detailed project plan for phase II of the review process July 15, 2015

    July 22, 2015. Our proposal was accepted and due diligence will commence in August.

Meeting and presenting the new sustainable building system to hundreds of people interested in clean technology. Now they understand the importance of sustainability and that there is a sustainable product available.

  • Second Patent Filed

    An additional US Provisional Application filed at the United States Patent and Trademark Office was submitted to include an enhanced design that will significantly increase the ability for these structural blocks to withstand additional shear strength and increase manufacturing efficiency. US Provisional Application filed January 7, 2015

  • Greater Vancouver Clean Technology Expo & Championship

    Just BioFiber Structural Solutions is pleased to be exhibiting and competing in the Greater Vancouver Clean Technology Expo & Championship in Surrey B.C. January 28, 2015 at the new City Hall.

    This will be our first public appearance presenting the Super SSR building system. We will be competing with 40 other clean technology companies to be the cleanest and most sustainable green building and energy efficient companies presenting.

  • SAIT ARIS partners for initial projects

    Just Bio Fiber Structural Solutions has partnered with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Applied Research and Innovation Services to complete two initial projects. First to provide a detailed worldwide market assessment and second to perform materials testing and reporting for standards certification. Our relationship with SAIT will be ongoing to assist with product development, building construction standards, certification and training.

  • NRC Construction CCMC application for evaluation

    Just BioFiber Super SSR building block has been submitted for evaluation to Canadian Construction Materials Centre located in Ottawa Canada for National Building Code evaluation listing.

     

     

  • NRC IRAP BIAP project approval

    November 24 2014

    Just BioFiber has received BIAP funding approval to engage Southern Alberta Institute of Technology to complete 2 projects in marketing research and materials testing. Both projects are  to commence November 2014 and completion is expected March 2015.
